[left, some nature]
At this time of renewal and rebirth, I find myself taking pause to drink in the world's small wonders and imponderable mysteries . . .
- the glint in the eye of the majestic hawk as it swoops down, relentlessly, on its prey
- a drop of dew on a kitten's whisker
- the laugh of a baby in her mama's lap, behind me in the theater
- how the lowly stinkbug can produce such a magnificent stench throughout the picnic area, and make such a hearty crackle 'neath my sole
- whoever made it possible to text while behind the wheel
- The Shaggs
- the insurance industry -- why, God, why?
- while I'm at it, what's with lobbyists? would it kill You to smite a few, once in a while?
- the downy softness of baby chicks and the tangy zest of BBQ chicken
- how the delightful kaleidoscopic hues of nature's brilliant bouquet can in no way compensate for how utterly miserable the golden pollen renders my existence.

You left out Rebecca Black. Have a good weekend!
Blast! And Jack White!
Oh well, there's next year.
Thanks, you too!
Today, the sun is shining, even on me!
