YES!
Friday night, over five inches dumped on our place in a very short span of time, three inches of it in less than ninety minutes.
Last night, more torrential rain, this time accented by 1" (or "quarter-sized," depending upon whether you believe the newspaper or TV station) hail.
Tonight, the prediction is for as much as two inches of rain per hour (which, according to my math, would equate to the same rate as Friday).
When I get to be li'l king of everything (Los Lobos ref!), any DJ who trots out "Riders on the Storm," either of the CCR "rain" songs, the Led Zep one, or (especially) "Ridin' the Storm Out," will be sentenced to six months in our basement. Which conditions over the past six months has converted from an entertainment center/music room to a frog pond/mushroom farm.
Maybe the Native Americans in my family know a No Rain dance?
